On Friday, Oct. 6, two senior Republican members of the USA Home of Representatives urged the Biden administration to strengthen the enforcement of export controls on superior semiconductors to China.
In a letter addressed to Nationwide Safety Adviser Jake Sullivan, Consultant Michael McCaul, chairman of the Home International Affairs Committee, and Consultant Mike Gallagher, chairman of the Home Choose Committee on China, said that China’s main semiconductor producer’s current technological developments underscore the need for revising the great laws launched in 2022. They emphasize the necessity to handle what they understand as deficiencies or “loopholes” within the present guidelines.
